It starts with the New Year reception in January, where companies can raise their glasses and meet in an informal way. Every year in February the Gulf Forecast Meeting is held. Gulf Publishing Company from Houston gives its predictions about the developments in the oil and gas industry for the coming year.       The Members-Meet-Members events (LOL-bijeenkomst) are also always well attended. The hosting company gives a presentation, which is usually illustrated by an excursion. Other member companies are offered the opportunity to give a short company introduction. A reception, which is an excellent opportunity to strengthen the IRO network, concludes this event. Member events are also organised in conjunction with other organisations – to enlarge the information exchange and network possibilities – or with a special theme.          In November the annual General Meeting takes place, where the members are informed about the activities of the past year an where they can vote about important issues concerning the association.
