For over 30 years Falck Safety Services has provided a broad and evolving training portfolio to their clients in the offshore, maritime and wind industries. The training courses are certified by OPITO, NOGEPA, GWO and the ILT/Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate, and are therefore in compliance with the international stipulations.
Time is money. The production on the platform must continue, the ship must be in the port on time to unload and load and the project must be completed on time. Each disruption to that process must be prevented or solved in as little time as possible. Therefore it is very important that effective action is taken before, during and after calamities. Falck Safety Services trains people to act effectively. Whether it concerns the start of a fire, a leakage of hazardous substances or a large-scale evacuation.
The training provides the necessary skills to limit the consequences of incidents, but more importantly, teaches prevention. Falck Safety Services offers safety training for all target groups; personnel of production and drilling platforms, ship owners, managers, rescue and salvage companies, port authorities and pilot services. Areas of training include: sea survival, helicopter safety, firefighting, first aid, health & safety and crisis management.
Built to simulate real-life environments, Falck Safety Services facilities feature state-of-the-art classrooms and training simulators which can be found at our 3 training centres in Amsterdam, Den Oever and Rotterdam-Maasvlakte. Besides this Falck Safety Services also provides on board training like Verification of Competences (VoC) and crisis management (MoME and MEM IR). Annually Falck Safety Services trains more than 370.000 people worldwide, in 38 training centres in 17 countries.
