Looking back on Offshore Energy 2019

Offshore Energy 2019: the event had all the ingredients to connect the oil, gas, wind and marine energy sectors. With over 550 exhibitors and partners and more than 10,000 visitors from 91 countries, Offshore Energy 2019 can be considered a success. The event took place in Amsterdam RAI, on 8 and 9 October 2019. Offshore Energy 2019 was also visited by trade missions from Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. A perfect place to be introduced to various companies. The conference and side events also attracted a lot of delegates. The main topic was “Energy transition”.

The shared IRO and NOGEPA stand attracted a lot of visitors. IRO represented its more than 400 members during these two days. Also the official launch of the North Sea Energy Atlas, an online interactive platform that provides insight into current and future energy pillars in the North Sea (wind, gas and hydrogen) took place. This atlas gives a perfect insight in order to make the right choices for a new, integrated energy system in our North Sea.
