Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the Navingo Career Event is postponed to 27 & 28 October 2020. At the event, employers present themselves to the job market with a special focus to the maritime, offshore and energy sector. It was supposed to take place on the 28th of May. Because of the circumstances, the organizer Navingo does not think it responsible to hold the event on that date. “Navingo puts the wellbeing of everyone first. Looking at our visitors, partners and the team, we took the decision to postpone the Navingo Career Event. The event will now coincide with our other event: Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference,” says Managing Director Coert van Zijll Langhout.
Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) takes place from 26 until 29 October 2020 in Amsterdam. The exhibition focuses on the offshore energy sector, which consists of, for example, the sectors Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, Marine Energy and the Maritime sector. As ‘Home of Energy Transition’, the event receives about 10.000 visitors from the Netherlands and abroad.
Last year, the Navingo Career Event took place at RDM Onderzeebootloods in Rotterdam. “We have full confidence that the combination with Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference will contribute to a successful execution of this special edition in Amsterdam.”
The renewed online platform NavingoCareer.com plays an important role in bringing parties together. “Especially now we will work extra hard to connect jobseekers and employers online, and we will continue to inspire them and provide them with knowledge through NavingoCareer.com. In these challenging times, it is important to jointly go the extra mile and we will do our outmost to contribute as much as we can,” says Coert van Zijll Langhout.
In the next few days, Navingo will contact participating companies and stakeholders to inform them about the changes. The registration for the Navingo Career Event will open at a later moment. Visitors who already registered are automatically registered for the new date.
