Building a strong North Sea for 2030 and beyond

Offshore wind production is outpacing infrastructure and the electrification of off-takers alike. Yet, we need, and are scheduled, to expand our offshore capacity greatly. The deadlines of 2030 and 2050 are ever looming over our heads. How can we make sure that the North Sea, is ready for the coming expansion?

With the global market becoming more diverse and Europe facing more competition, it is of vital importance to keep the North Sea optimized and in full-time development. With grid capacity issues, having to rely on the private capital market instead of subsidies, and different segments of the supply chain scaling asynchronously, there are plenty of hurdles to deal with. Europe has to stay both creative and innovate in order to solve or circumvent their effects on the development of the offshore sector. Want to help build up the blue battery of Europe and be part of the solution? Join the conversation at Offshore Industry!
