Thursday 27 June we dived into the deep at DCN Diving. The IRO team and its members received a warm welcome from the DCN staff.
The afternoon started with pitches of Muller Dordrecht, CHC Helicopters and Maritime Construction Services and presentations of MME Group and DCN Diving. Followed by a fascinating tour where we visited DCN’s unique Hyperbaric Testing Facility, which is designed for welding tests to be performed under simulated conditions. DCN showed us the underwater world in which they work, by giving two demonstrations. After the tour DCN treated everyone to a festive walking dinner to complete the wonderful afternoon.
