The Embassy of the Netherlands in Dakar would like to invite you to a meeting between BP and Dutch enterprises in the oil and gas sector. This meeting will take place on Thursday 11 April, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the BP offices in Dakar.
Objectives of the meeting will be:
1) for BP to inform the enterprises about the progress they are making in Grand Tortue (FID made end of 2018 for phase 1) and Cayar (discovered in 2017) and
2) to see if there would be opportunities for collaboration for Cayar and phase 2 and 3 of Grand Tortue. BP specifically mentioned that they hope to receive Dutch offers for the engineering work. Kosmos is moreover selling part of its shares in Grand Tortue, wanting to reduce its ownership from 30 to 10 percent. As you might know, BP is the majority shareholder for Grand Tortue.
You are more than welcome to participate. The Dutch Ambassador, Mr. Theo Peters, moreover invites you to the network reception he will host at his residence on Tuesday 9 April at 18.30h. This reception will take place in the context of the Masterclass that is organized by the Round Table for Oil and Gas in collaboration with NABC and INPG.
