Ampelmann had the pleasure to welcome a group of visitors from Vietsovpetro, an oil and gas exploration company based in Vung Tau, Vietnam, to its yard in Singapore.
In its commitment to improve the safety and efficiency of its offshore operations in the future, Vietsovpetro was interested in gaining insight into Ampelmann’s systems and the work the company does in the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry.
“We were very excited to share our knowledge from years of experience in O&G with our visitors from Vietnam,” said Bernice Tan, Senior Commercial Manager at Ampelmann. “Motion compensating gangway systems are becoming increasingly important in the offshore energy industries, especially in a region where unpredictable weather can cause long stretches of downtime.”
The visit included an onshore demonstration of an Ampelmann system as well as an in-depth technical discussion.
