Dutch Wavemakers have a passion for water and energy. We are creating awareness worldwide on the consequences of climate change and advocate for a circular economy. The Wavemakers spread the story of our cooperating partners, live and via social media, among the next generation. Professional athletes, students and young professionals form a community, and together they have the ability to inspire the youth during Dutch and international (sport)events such as The Ocean Race, the Olympic Games, SAIL Amsterdam and Dubai Expo 2020.
National and international athletes work closely together with talented students. Together they tell a passionate story with a scientific substantiation. Dutch Wavemakers connect socially appealing themes: water, energy and sport. Sport and sustainability create possibilities for long term relations on trade and have, in addition, an impact in local communities. Dutch Wavemakers’ approach results in awareness, attracting young talent and promotion of the Dutch Top sectors Water & Energy.
