On 16 and 17 June our upcoming event will focus on INFRASTRUCTURE BEYOND BOUNDARIES. To achieve the energy transition new and integrated infrastructure is essential. Embedding new feedstock into the complex supply chains, will enable European industry clusters to capture opportunities in a highly integrated way. To do this, new connections and new thinking are needed.
Zeeland is an exemplary region where thinking is bigger than just the Netherlands. Here is where they already CONNECT TO ACT. Current and future projects connect the region with the Port of Rotterdam, the industrial areas of Antwerp and Gent, Chemelot Geleen and into Germany. And let’s not forget Zeeland’s position in developing an integrated offshore energy system on the North Sea. Cross border thinking is common practice in Zeeland.
That is why our next event, hosted by SIEMENS ENERGY, co-hosted by DOW and supported by SMART DELTA RESOURCES (SDR), will take us to Terneuzen Zeeland. We will hear the plans for new infrastructure such as maritime and ports, the electrical grid, gas pipelines with multiple purposes such as (industrial) heat, hydrogen, CO2 and even syngas to feedstock and e-fuels. Real tangible examples of these projects will be presented.
