With a primary focus on the oil and gas industry, Fugro supports all operational stages, from resource exploration and infrastructure development to oil and gas production and transportation.
We provide an integrated package of services, streamlining oil and gas exploration, development, production and decommissioning. All activities are planned and executed with the highest focus on safety. Local expertise and a global resource network enable us to deliver specialist disciplines, pioneering technologies and world-class services.
Supporting all operational stages
Exploration - our expertise and technological resources enable us to assist in the location and assessment of prospective petroleum targets and identify development opportunities. We support and help de-risk exploration projects, whilst providing the data and knowledge required to attract and secure investment for future developments.
Development - from initial planning to design and installation, we provide a unique package of integrated disciplines, expertise and technology including AUVs, geoconsultancy, geotechnical investigations, geophysical surveys and metocean services.
Production - we build on the knowledge gained at the field development stage and provide ongoing support to sustain oil and gas production levels and limit downtime. Throughout the operational life of a field, essential data and consultancy advice are provided for downstream infrastructure and onshore facilities.
Decommissioning - from cessation of production and abandonment strategies to the removal of infrastructure, site restoration and long-term monitoring, we help optimise all phases of decommissioning.
Operating in locations around the globe in vastly differing environments, we have built up a large, regionally organised, global network of offices and facilities. Cross-divisional cooperation is key to providing consistent services and project solutions that involve multiple disciplines.
