DOB-Academy launches its first training course on hydrogen as a renewable source of energy

Hydrogen is to play a key role in the energy transition, together with (offshore) wind turbines and solar panels. Where wind turbines and solar panels are dependent upon wind and sun for their energy production, hydrogen can be stored and distributed at later use. Hydrogen is essential in order to obtain the national and global climate targets.
More and more industries are exploring hydrogen and designing their first products in which hydrogen forms the main power source, though the use and application of hydrogen is still in an early phase. Hydrogen has great potential but there is a knowledge gap that might prevent companies from fully using the favourable, technical capabilities of hydrogen. That is why DOB-Academy, in cooperation with Frames, Energy Delta Institute and TU Delft, has developed a one-day ‘Introduction Hydrogen’ training course.
During this day topics such as production, storage and distribution of hydrogen will be discussed, as well as the impact on the energy grid. Guest lecturers from the industry will discuss practical and proven technical solutions for the use of hydrogen. The training course will cost € 999,- (excl. VAT), and will take place on March 17th at DOB-Academy. The training course will be scheduled several times a year.
