From 28-30 June IRO went to Paramaribo for the Suriname Energy, Oil & Gas Summit & Exhibition (SEOGS). SEOGS is a new, small, but good exhibition on the initiave of Staatsolie because of the large oil discoveries off the coast of Suriname. It is a pioneering market, where everyone is waiting for Total’s first FID.
The Dutch Pavilion of 42m2 was the only country pavilion at the exhibition. Eight Dutch companies took part in this pavilion. With more than 5000 visitors, 600 conference participants, 120 exhibiting companies and representatives of the highest political level (2 presidents, 10 ministers), it was a successful exhibition. IRO has worked closely with the Dutch Ambassador in Suriname for this fair.
