Europort, held biennially in the European port city of Rotterdam, is the international maritime exhibition and conference focusing on innovations in maritime technology, shipbuilding, repair and conversion.
Organised by Rotterdam Ahoy, Europort is one of the world’s leading meeting places for maritime professionals, attracting around 30,000 visitors and 1,100 exhibiting companies. The event provides a forum for buyers and sellers to conduct business and to exchange knowledge about latest shipping industry developments, and is aimed at senior executives and managers from ship owners and operators, shipyards, ship designers and naval architects, technical engineers, ship brokers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, as well as other maritime industry professionals. Each edition of Europort is themed to reflect the key issues affecting the maritime industry, through the seminars, conferences and workshops held alongside the exhibition, and through the structure of the exhibition itself. The themes chosen for Europort 2017 are: Big Data; The New Environmental Age; and The Human Factor. Europort 2017 takes place November 7-10, 2017 at Rotterdam Ahoy.
