The USA have tremendous opportunities for offshore wind. Especially the Northern part of the East Coast has very favourable conditions, which has also been recognized by several coastal states. Currently only one offshore wind farm is in service, but it is expected to grow to 3-4 GW of offshore wind by 2030 (or even more).
With the take-off of offshore wind in the USA we have all the reason to start introducing our Dutch offshore wind supply chain over there. We’ll do so by going on a mission from 15-19 October 2018.
The first three days of the mission will be in Washington DC where we’ll take part in the AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER Conference. After this the mission will continue in Boston (MA) where there will be visits to companies, networking receptions and roundtable discussions, so you can introduce yourself and your company to as many other potential partners as possible.
