More than 85 enthusiastic MarCom professionals, members of IRO and NMT, met on Thursday 6 February 2020 for an inspiring and educational afternoon on digital value creation. The beautiful building of the DOB Academy in Delft created an inspiring environment.
The world has changed completely and the developments in the marketing and communication profession have certainly changed. ‘Digital‘ has played a major role in the media mix for many years. But how do you really create value for your customers in the digital landscape? Keynote speaker Ayman van Bregt, digital strategist, brought surprising insights about ‘Digital Value Creation‘.
An important part of the program were the two workshop rounds, in which the participants could choose from their favorite sessions.
Themes such as ‘Marketing Automation and B2B Online Lead Generation‘, ‘Marketing & Communication with limited resources‘, ‘Online advertising’ and an interactive digital photography workshop were discussed in the first workshop round.
After the break the second workshop round followed. Including the hands-on workshop on ‘Digital value creation for organizations via Google’s See-Think-Do-Care model‘, a session ‘From shooting with hail to shooting with sharp. How do you hit the right chord with the right target group at the right time’ and a creative session about content creation based on the pressure cooker principle. The participants actively started working with worksheets, post-its and timers to get the creative process going.
During the break and networking drinks, the knowledge and experiences gained were shared informally between both the IRO and NMT members. In addition to networking, the participants could enjoy delicious and culinary home-made mocktails and snacks.
All in all a very varied program where the MarCom professionals were well catered for!
