Hydrogen in the EU: The key to a fully integrated energy sector

Online Webinars

The live webinar takes place on Friday, July 3 13:00 – 14:00 CEST in cooperation with Hydrogen Europe.

In the energy system of the future, electricity, heat, gas and hydrogen will be increasingly integrated in order to deal with the fluctuations caused by the large quantities of renewable electricity production.

By converting these large quantities of renewable energy into hydrogen gas through electrolysis (Power-to-Gas), these large quantities of energy can already be transported and stored using existing gas network infrastructure or connected directly with specific end-uses. The gas produced via Power-to-Gas is available for heat and power generation, for the mobility sector and for industrial processes.

Hydrogen can also play an important role in providing flexibility and system security to deal with the large fluctuations of renewable electricity. In our future energy system, we will need a fully integrated energy system and Hydrogen is the key for this.

During this webinar Hydrogen Europe will further explain why Hydrogen is the key to a fully integrated energy sector and answers your questions on this topic.
