The leading event of the oil & gas industry in Latin America
Faced with the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Rio Oil & Gas 2020 was the first edition held based on a new concept, ceasing to be a biannual event to become a brand of a new platform, with recurrence, in-person activities integrated with new digital actions and bringing a cutting edge status to the industry.
The first edition in this new format took place in December 2020 and was a success. For three days, Rio Oil & Gas participants connected, through a completely digital environment, on an exclusive online platform that allowed our audience to explore virtual content a to carry out immersive activities. The original Conference agenda was fully adapted to this new platform.
For this historic edition, there were more than 10 thousand people registered and more than 17 thousand watched hours of the live event. Participants were able to learn, share content and get to know the market better. Also, more than 300 brands believed in the sector’s potential by presenting their companies to a highly engaged and optimistic public.
This edition was also the first with a partnership signed between IBP and environmental consultancy agency WayCarbon for the preparation of a project to neutralize carbon emissions for the event. Our ambition is to reduce the event’s emissions with each edition.
This event will take place on a hybrid format, face-to-face and digital, providing the perfect place for business and networking.
