The Irish government is firmly committed to have 5GW of offshore wind installed by 2030.
To achieve this, seven offshore wind projects will be fast-tracked through the new marine planning regime, ensuring installment of at least 1GW by 2025. For the longer term (2030-2040), Ireland aims to install 30GW of floating offshore wind on its west coast.
Commissioned by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Netherlands Embassy in Dublin, a study mapping out the opportunities for the Dutch offshore wind sector in Ireland will be presented in a webinar that takes place on Thursday 19 November, from 10.30-12.00 h.
