The Baltic Sea holds an incredible potential for offshore wind in Europe, and could host as much as 93 GW by 2050, up from 2.2 GW today. As for the North Sea before them, the Baltic region has ambitious plans to invest massively in grid infrastructure, both on- and offshore, as well as ports.
During a webinar on Thursday 20 May, we will take a closer look at the current market conditions, project pipelines and business opportunities for Dutch offshore wind supply chain companies in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Time: 14.00-15.30h CET or 15.00-16.30h EEST.
After a well-attended webinar in December 2020, featuring some key players in the local offshore wind markets, this webinar focuses on the broader European context and perspective for Baltic offshore wind, presented by WindEurope’s Mattia Cecchinato, followed by a presentation of the markets assessment report for the Dutch offshore wind industry by Tijmen Gombert and Albert van der Hem of BLIX Consultancy. Representatives from RVO and NWEA will elaborate on supporting instruments and collective trade promotion activities to facilitate companies in entering new markets.
