TNO Bouw en Ondergrond is the central Dutch geoscience institute for information and research to promote the sustainable management and use of the subsurface and its natural resources. The Institute acquires and manages geoscientific information on the Netherlands and the North Sea, provides advice world-wide and conducts applied geoscientific research as well as associated technological research.
