On February 26, Ampelmann had the pleasure to host a delegation of German journalists, show them around its production facility in Rotterdam and tell them more about its work in the offshore wind sector, especially in Germany.
“For us it was a great honor to be picked out by the Dutch ministry of Foreign Trade as an example of Dutch innovative companies in the offshore wind sector and present ourselves to the German press,” said Tim Börner, Business Development Manager – Offshore Wind Europe at Ampelmann.
The visit took place in preparation for the trade mission of Sigrid Kaag, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, to Bremen at the beginning of March. As part of this mission, Ampelmann will have the opportunity to further explore the German market and get in touch with potential business partners.
The trade mission of Minister Kaag also runs parallel to the work visit of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima in Bremen next week.
“Strengthening international cooperation and making people increasingly aware of the efficiency and safety of our products is something we welcome at Ampelmann with open arms,” Tim said. “The offshore wind industry, and especially the utilisation of Walk to Work systems in that segment, have proven to be an increasing market for our company and is making a significant proportion of our business in Europe.”
