We are the Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij. For 200 years, we have been rescuing people and animals in distress at sea or in the vast inland waters of our country. We do this voluntarily, selflessly, and independently, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, in all weather conditions. This means that we are always ready when called upon. Then we help and rescue anyone who needs us.
Day in, day out, and night in, night out, we take action. From major operations to what we call minor actions, which can still have a significant impact on those we help. Sometimes in difficult or even seemingly hopeless situations for them. It motivates us that people trust us and feel safe when our personnel arrive on the scene. The KNRM is here, now it’s okay…
